Crisis Intervention and Recovery Team
Staying Put Crisis Intervention and Recovery Service is an outreach service provided to families in a crisis, with the aim of protecting women and their children, strengthening and preserving the family, and preventing unnecessary homelessness. The Crisis Intervention and Recovery Service offers in depth emotional support to women who need this; ensuring the needs of service users are fully met The service also offers longer term support ensuring the service users are settled, comfortable and stay safe. The service users can use the service whenever they need for up to 2 years. Additionally, practical assistance, general support and culturally specific support is available to women contacting us.
We can provide support over the phone and also in person if required. We can arrange to meet women in safe places where it is convenient for them. The staff at Staying Put will agree a place to meet where you feel safe and secure. This may be your home, a community centre, a café or at another agency.
